Velasquez Family Coffee

Velasquez Family Coffee is a subscription based coffee company started by Guillermo and Cathy Velasquez to sell the high quality coffee grown by their family and friends in the mountains of Honduras. This ensures them a livable income and supports their effort to protect and enhance the precious cloud forest ecosystem where they farm.

MCAD Scope of Work

Our aim is to identify areas of potential improvement and suggest strategies to support the growth of the VFC brand and community. We want to help VFC stand out and make connections based on their incredible story.
Our deliverables included information and beginning steps into the process of getting VFC into Latinx mercados or restaurants in the Twin cities, curated marketing strategies, and informational research on environmentally friendly product packaging.

Packaging Report

As researcher, my task was to research and recommend new, environmentally friendly packaging for their coffee, ground and whole bean.

Objective : investigate environmentally friendly packaging options for VFC product
Key Results: provide VFC with the information and options so they can make an informed decision about new, eco-friendly packaging for their product
